This gorgeous photo is from Swarthmore High School… the photographer was Lewis Studios, and the 7×16-inch photo is remarkably well-preserved. A scan of the program and the account of the play from the 1931 Garnet Record have their own page in my archives… where they have been placed for future historians. The original photograph should find its way to someone with Swarthmore connections, so I decided to list it here in the store. The play was Pomander Walk, presented on February 27, 1931. The photo will be shipped in a mailing tube.
