High Tech Nomad on Next Step – 1993

This is one of my favorite videos from the BEHEMOTH era, and it aired on the Discovery Channel on April 27, 1993. The presenter is Richard Hart, and filming was done near San Luis Obispo while I was in a layover between speaking tours… on a quest for a place to set up a Microship lab (which was just about to materialize in the Engineering department at UCSD). A crazy time. I still remember the audacious over-the-shoulder shot, with an expensive camera bungeed to my packs as I galumphed down the road.
