I spent a delightful few days in Baton Rouge in early May, 1984 – visiting my aunt, staying with the mayor’s family, getting to know an interesting audiophile, and even having a bizarre cultural encounter that spawned a fun book chapter. Somewhere in there, WBRZ Channel 2 television got wind of my adventure, and this is the result.

I only have the audio, as it was captured on my pocket tape recorder at a host’s house, but the quality is excellent and I digitized it for this archive in 2020. Here’s the found audio from 1984, about 6 months into the Computing Across America adventure.
